TEXTILE INDUSTRY OF HERMOUPOLIS
“The Manchester” of Greece
This is a textile factory of great historical importance located in Syros. A visit to the museum is a unique opportunity for visitors to be in a real factory and see the entire production line and machinery as they have been frozen in time. Since no other factory has survived out of the 68 that once existed in Syros, it is a unique attraction and point of reference for the Textile Industry of Ermoupolis. The Museum is open for experiential tours. Experiential tours take place daily at the following times by reservation: 11:00 & 20:00
